THE C&O CANAL MAP 2008 THE GREAT ALLEGHENY PASSAGE 2011
Both the Allegheny Trail Alliance (GAP) and the C&O Canal have put together very detailed maps which are a must for your trip. Printed versions of these maps are available at any Visitor Center along the trail. The C&O has posted an interactive version to the web which is super-useful...just click
here to the map. The Allegheny Trail Alliance doesn't post an interactive version of this particular map, but there is a page on their site which has the trail broken into sections, and there's an interactive map for each. Click
here to see the ATA Interactive Trail Maps.
The maps below were used for my last bike trip. I was looking to post beautiful electronic images of these maps with no success. I had to improvise and take photos of my "gently" used maps. Unfortunately, it rained for a few days and the maps got a little wet. Follow the link at the top of the paragraph to view more detailed maps.
